Colossians 3:15-17 (New International Version)

15Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. 17And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

1 Corinthians 15:58 (New International Version)

58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Ephesians 4:11-13 (New International Version)

11 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12 to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

James 1:22 (New International Version)

22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

Peninsular Christian Church Statement of Faith

WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired and only authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20, 21)

WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16-17)

WE BELIEVE in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. (Matthew 1:21-23, 3:17, 28:7; John 12:37; Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 4:15)

WE BELIEVE that salvation is by grace through faith alone and not a result of any work. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

WE BELIEVE the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life, empowered to witness and given spiritual gifts for the common good of the Body of Christ, the Church. (John 7:37-39; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Corinthians 12:4-7, 11 and 1; Peter 4:10)

WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost, those that are saved to the resurrection of eternal life, and those that are lost to the resurrection of eternal separation from God. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; Revelations 20:11-15)
